John, son of Donald and Janet MACKINTOSH married Janet, daughter of Alexander MACKINTOSH and Margaret GRANT. Janet jnr, her son Donald and his wife Elspet, daughter Grace and sons Lewis and John arrived on the James McHenry in December 1854. It appears John, son Alexander and daughter Ann and her family arrived separately but all were in Victoria by the end of 1850s.
