	The Society provides a central Archives for those needing assistance tracing their family origins, to help unite distant relatives unknown to each other and assist with planning family reunions
	Functions
	To bring together members, in both regional and metropolitan areas, we organise and attend functions at various times during the year. To keep track of the all of the functions all over Australia, we keep an Events Diary. A copy is included in our newsletter and regularly updated on this site.
	Newsletter
	Our quarterly newsletter The Red Whortleberry provides information of activities planned, the latest news and acts as a voice for members seeking information, announcements of family happenings and historical information.
	Display Boards
	We have put together a number of Display Boards featuring Mackintosh Clan history, present day clan territories, status of the clan, our Chief, and the family seat in Scotland. Other displays portray our connection to our kin in the Clan Chattan confederation
	Hospitality Tent
	We show a selection of our display boards in our Hospitality Tent at regional and metropolitan Highland Games and Gatherings during the Summer season. Members, guests and visitors are encouraged to inspect the displays and promote new membership. The Clan tent and/or Display boards can be requested by members for display at family reunions or social gatherings
